I was raised Catholic but I really don't agree with the way the Church is being run. Like so many other institutions, it is corrupt from the ground up. Every time I check the news there is another scandal breaking out, and it makes me really ashamed to call myself Catholic. I have tried to become an atheist or at least agnostic, but those ways of thinking just feel wrong to me and don't make much sense to me. I don't want to become a Protestant either, because even though I don't like the scandals in the Church, I still love the way the services are run and I follow the beliefs. So I will stay a reluctant Catholic.
is it normal to have a religion, but disliking it's current structure?
