You are correct, morals don't need to come from the Bible. But that doesn't mean that the Bible doesn't have absolutely everything you need to know on how to live a better life as a better person, and how to get through problems that you may face. (And by better person, I don't mean someone who doesn't have sex or curse, and follows all the rules. I mean how to be a good-hearted person. How to forgive people. How to not judge people. How to always see the good in people etc.
I didn't even need the bible to know how to be a good-hearted person, but it is still in there, and I still get some good advice when I am having my doubts of being the bigger man in some cases.
is it normal to have a religion, but disliking it's current structure?
