What happened to all the adjectives in the world? We used to say things like unwise, irresponsible, careless, reckless, remiss, improvident, injudicious, pococurante.
Now everything is either retarded or gay or both.
Extract from a book of the future:
William looked gayly at the retarded sky. It was gay. That's retarded, he thought retardedly, and gay. Jessica's entrance was gay. He had always felt retarded about Jessica since that time she did something that was retarded and gay.
"I feel so retarded," said Jess, retardedly.
