yep, mononator is probably right. or she could have been telling the truth, which is also normal in a way - because she was with you for so long, maybe she was just "waiting it out" to see if she would reacquire those feelings she used to have for you. maybe she was too afraid to break up with you because she didn't want to make a major change in her life. sometimes it's easier to lie, but good god she shouldn't have done that, because it just ends up hurting everyone involved in the end.
