    She will die in a few years, and you will still be alive. You're not meant to be together. There are countless people your age that can make you feel special. It must also be very weird for her relatives.

      She's almost certainly got years to go yet, maybe decades if she's healthy, and good sex will keep her healthier.

      "Not meant" by whom? Why begrudge them their happiness and if her family find it weird that's their problem.
