Well, one day after an over twelve year friendship he decided to tell me on the phone in graphic detail what he wanted to do to me, so I had to let him go as a friend, because the trust was completely gone.
Oh okay, I didn't notice. Honestly, I don't think it matters too much if OP is male, female as long as she is chill, and respectful about the whole thing. It could work out really well if the feelings are mutual, or turn out awkward if not depending. Thanks for the heads up though.

I had one of them (a good mate that was a chick, I'm a dude) I knew she liked me more then bff and I really thought she would ask and then it would mess our friendship up. She never asked though.
