Is it normal to have a friend crush?

I recently have been getting closer to a friend (who is also a girl) and noticed that I sort of like her. I typically don't act this way and most of my friends are girls. Has this happened to anyone else? Will this feeling go away eventually?
Yes I am a girl for anyone who was confused :)

Yes it is ok. It most likely only means you admire her, but if not, and it means more that's ok too.

if you feel that vibe and close connection it makes sense, spend more time with her and see what destiny brings

  • Have little play wrestle, then when the time feels right lean in for a kiss. Ya might like it. She might feel the same. Nothing wrong with it.

Yes normal for girls to feel this way.

If she doesn't like it he might lose a friend.

I had a male bestfriend to whom I was not the least bit attracted, and he knew this from the beginning. Well, one day after an over twelve year friendship he decided to tell me on the phone in graphic detail what he wanted to do to me, so I had to let him go as a friend, because the trust was completely gone.

From the phrase "who is also a girl" I'm sure OP is female.

Oh okay, I didn't notice. Honestly, I don't think it matters too much if OP is male, female as long as she is chill, and respectful about the whole thing. It could work out really well if the feelings are mutual, or turn out awkward if not depending. Thanks for the heads up though.

      • So I best not ask for more then our isitnormal friendship an see if you will send me nudes?

But being serious, yea there is a risk it could turn around badly for her. Even if she tells her nicely how she feels her mate could still be pissed off... Hang on! you said "he" I thought this was a chick licking another chick? I had one of them (a good mate that was a chick, I'm a dude) I knew she liked me more then bff and I really thought she would ask and then it would mess our friendship up. She never asked though. Great chick! any man would be lucky to have her.

No person in the history of crushes had ever had a crush on a friend, ever.

It's okay, and if you value the friendship, and respect her as a person take your time to see if she might feel the same, and then maybe if she appears to feel the same ya'll could see where it goes.
