I'm not christian but I've always been fascinated with hell. I actually tried writing a story where the main character visits heaven and hell, both are unlike the way they are portrayed. I'll give you an idea of what my version of hell and heaven appear to be like.
Heaven to me is a place no different than my life now. Ultimately, I believe that in order for a human to be truly happy we need misery in our lives. Due to this thought about a necessity for sadness I cannot imagine hell.
I've come to the thought that heaven and hell are really metaphors that we use to describe our lives.
