Is it normal to have a cowlick and not want it?
I have a really bad cowlick. And I want it gone. Is that normal? P.S.
Does anybody know any cheap, easy, ways to get rid of it?

Grow your fringe down to your brow [or lower if you'd like]; when it's [almost/basically dripping] wet, clip your whole fringe tightly across with about 3-4+ clips spray it with hairspray & start drying it, add more hairspray & continue until totally dry. DO NOT straighten it up & out, straighten it downwards & then straighten the hair above it down over it which helps to flatten/minimalize it - do this for a while [most times] & it should dramatically become almost unnoticeable [especially with hair down over it]
I'm a hairstylist and almost everyone has one. There's nothing you can do to get rid of it completly, but leaving that section of hair longer usually helps it lay better. Unless you have really short hair... In that case sometimes you need to cut it even shorter. Hairspray also helps.
It is very normal. People have different growth patterns everywhere in their hair. I have been a hairdresser for almost 10 years and the best way to tame a cowlick is to attack it when it's wet. Try a boar bristle brush and blowdry that section of hair first. Be glad that you have hair, cowlicks and all.
