Is it normal to have a baby young?

By "young", I mean between the ages of 18-22. The "average" I heard was around 25, but most of the people I know have all had children in this age bracket. The ones who didn't got ridiculed and was told they were too "old". Lol, so, is it honestly out of the norm?

I'm 21 and my daughter is 8 months. It all depends on your maturity level. If you want to party and stuff I would tell you not to have one. But babies are awesome and I could not imagine Not having my daughter. It was the best decision I ever made.

It is normal, but that doesnt mean you are able to raise a kid.

Plenty of people don't have kids until their 30's. I think younger than 25 is too young because you don't have your life together yet and haven't figured out who you are and may not be with the right person yet. It's just too young to really know what you want and to be able to give a child a good life.
