Is it normal to hate yourself for your depression

So when I had depression I kept thinking that I was an attention seeker and that I was being stupid when everyone else around me wasn't saying that. I even stopped taking my pills at one stage because of these thoughts.

I voted normal because when someone is suffering from depression they tend to be hyper critical of themselves, feeling like nothing they do is good enough. It's like it starts feeding itself. You become depressed about your depression.

Ugh yes, the depression feedback loop. Sucks so much. It's okay my friend, your feelings of sadness are totally real and people probably do actually care about you, even if they aren't good at showing it

People never seemed to care about me, even when i got depressed, so i didn't had that problem

Depression is just a state of mind, you can react however you feel fit, but the.reactions will also have consequences.
