This is a major problem. You have your whole life to live and if you don't take some action to change your perception, you will be living the rest of your life unhappy. And you deserve to be happy! You have so many options:
*see a therapist
*find out if your problems can be solved with just therapy or if it'd be appropriate to be on an anti depresant or other medicine.
*sounds so silly but positive affirmations really do work if you commit to it.
*and the bottom line is, you can choose to let society and selfish people make you feel bad, or you can choose to be comfortable with who you are and change your reaction to life and your perception of life.
