Im a woman with a very high pitched and soft sounding voice, and I cant stand it. People tell me I sound like a child and telemarketers always ask for "mom or dad". I always feel like people dont take me seriously at first. It doesnt help that Im 5'0 tall and look like a 16 year old. I think a lot of people are self conscious of their voice.
