Is it normal to hate your father

Try having a abusive, drunk father. Yeah, you don't have it so bad.

I hate my father too. For more quite worse things than what your father does lol but to each their own

i think you may be over reacting a bit. my father can be ignorant and makes me do stuff but that doesnt mean i hate him. if he is working you too hard than say something. try to work it out.

if you think he is working you too hard then that might be a small problem because most fathers don't treat their children as (i hate to say it) slaves but maybe you could talk to your mother about it if she is around. the best thing to do is to try to talk to him. if that doesnt work then hating him wont get you anywhere. it just produces negative emotion towards a person whose roof you are living under. if i were you i would just do what he says and look forward to one day being able to have your own house, life and way of viewing the world and not having to deal with him everyday.

hate is a strong word but yeah its normal, i dont think most parents are doing a good job now a days
