Is it normal to hate when people submit novels to this site?

Some people want genuine opinions and their way of grasping them is writing a "novel" to get the audience to empathise and really dedicate an honest answer.
If it really upsets you that much just don't read the essays

I dissagree people are aloud to spend as much space as they choose to use if they want to. Maybe they want it so the viewers understand completely what the situation is.

well i would prefer to read more about a situation so i dont have to make my own assumptions.

A long as there are complete sentences I don't mind the long ones. So if you are going to write a novel, be kind and use punctuation.

If you think it's too long, just don't read it. When people are actually talking to you and don't get to the point - now THAT'S annoying!

If you mean looooong stories then yes.

Sometimes their warranted but most of the time people are venting instead of looking for solutions.
