Ah I understand. I know what you mean in that case. Many of my fiance's college friends are getting married also and I think it's absurd to have to fly all over the country and spend tons of money on these peoples' weddings when we don't even talk to them anymore. And as for our wedding, I can't imagine making a gift registry. People will be coming from everywhere. How can I then ask them to bring gifts? I'm going to ask that people donate to a charitable cause in our name in lieu of gifts. I dunno dude. Weddings are fucking retarded. I wish we could just go to the courthouse, sign some papers, and then have a party. The average wedding these days costs like $30k. I'd rather pay off my student loans or do something useful with $30k.
