IS it normal to hate Walmart ?

  • It offers convenience and cheapness, which you can hardly blame people for taking advantage of. The downside is that small, independent businesses can get put out of business, discouraging entrepreneurship. On the other hand, it's very good for the consumer.

    Personally I don't like it much; I'm wary of it becoming a monopoly. Moreover, it's indicative of a society driven by consumerism.

    People act in self-interest. I suspect most consumers support Walmart because they can buy what they want cheaply all in one place. Most independent businesspeople don't support it because it could force them to move or put them out of business. Most people don't consider the impact of what they're supporting on other people, but only how it could benefit themselves.

    • well, I like it becuase were kidve poor right now so the fact we could by stuff so cheaply is good also a cheaper store is the 99cents store which is even cheaper and has an assortment of things you can not find in any other store we found bread from jurusilum and arabia it was so strange you dont find those anywere .
