Is it normal to hate to be around your friends?

Is it normal to hate spending time with your friends? Because I do. Lately, they've been bugging me with the actions that they do and the words and comments that they say. I find myslelf hanging out with the same type of people that I promised myself I would never be friends with. Their high hyper moods seem to effect me negatively. So please, tell me, is this normal?

  • Ditch them and find some people you get along with. Life is short , don't waste your time with people you don't like.

  • I work in an office where I just cannot stand the people around me, they are all good friends and I try to like them but their actions piss me off. And they know that I am the odd one out. My advice.. avoid them, stay aloof and act like u've got serious problems, keep ur ipod wid you at all times.

  • i do this too. maybe i like the face someone shows new people and it fades and i wish it would come back. or sometimes i spend all my time with destructive people that don't care about me and neglect the people that do care. people sabotage themselves, low self-esteem and what not. find some good friends that you can be with even when you want to be alone.

  • Try appreciating them for the people that they are? Even if they aren't the type of people you were LOOKING for, that doesn't mean that there can't be some significant connection. And if they're getting on your nerves that much, just ask for some "me time," or if you're a guy, something less feminine.

Or, you could just quietly break it off. Find new people to hang with, stop making it to meet-ups, etc.
