    No. They sent religious undesirables to America. They sent crazies and criminals to Australia.
    The roles were reversed somewhere along the centuries, probaby when the continents were formed or the ice bridges melted.

      That's a rather colorful conjecture which supports my point that you Brits are utterly bored with each other. So do this. Have a pint at the pub on Sunday afternoon, and shift the conversation to religious undesirability of ancient Americans, and the irrationality of Aussies that voted for Dr. Who. Loosen the discussion up a bit with ice bridges, Chinese gun powder, and Southern Hemisphere magnetic disorientation. You blokes will feel heaps better when you forget about yourselves, and start appreciating the zoo of humanity that surrounds you.

        "Brits" are not the same as English! British includes people from Scotland and Wales as well as England
