What you "basically understood'' isn't "basically what happens''. If you don't watch the show, don't make comments on it when you clearly don't know what it's like.
As for Community, it was good for two and a half seasons, then it took a fall from grace in the second half of season 3. I've still been watching it, but season 4 has hardly made me smile, let alone laugh. They've been renewed for a fifth season but I doubt they'll reach six if the standard remains the same.
I have seen a quite amount of the big bang theory though I have never "finished" an episode. I clearly do know what my opinion of BBT. Or would you comment that I basically don't understand that as well?
What I don't understand is why you watch something that doesn't amuse you just for the remote possibility that you might be amused?
Is it normal to hate the Big Bang Theory?
