I couldn't last through an episode.
This is basically what I understood from the show...
"We're so smart, and nerdy that I feel the need to say something smart and nerdy every second to sound smart and nerdy."
The fact that most of the people on the show have Phd's, masters, etc is nice to know...
The actors are probably wonderful people! They recently did a convention at my school, and I did get to meet some of them... But that show does not cut it for me. Is it because they act too stereotypical? And the characters are repetitive? Mayhaps.
Here's another show that's really witty, and enjoyable to watch! "Community."
Yes, they do nerd out! but in a good way. :) Troy and Abed <3
What you "basically understood'' isn't "basically what happens''. If you don't watch the show, don't make comments on it when you clearly don't know what it's like.
As for Community, it was good for two and a half seasons, then it took a fall from grace in the second half of season 3. I've still been watching it, but season 4 has hardly made me smile, let alone laugh. They've been renewed for a fifth season but I doubt they'll reach six if the standard remains the same.
I have seen a quite amount of the big bang theory though I have never "finished" an episode. I clearly do know what my opinion of BBT. Or would you comment that I basically don't understand that as well?
What I don't understand is why you watch something that doesn't amuse you just for the remote possibility that you might be amused?
Is it normal to hate the Big Bang Theory?
