I used to really enjoy it, but it seems like the more I watch Big Bang Theory, the more annoying it gets and the more shallow the characters' personalities seem (which doesn't surprise me, since it was made by the same guy who did Two and a Half Men). For example, all Sheldon does is correct people and make continuous references to science and geek pop culture. I once heard someone describe Big Bang Theory as "your dad's idea of what geeks are like". And even though I'm not a geek myself, the stereotypes presented in the show are almost painful to watch, especially since I have witnessed what real geek conversations are like (being a prominent member of an autism forum like I once was, listening to people geek out over stuff is an almost daily occurrence)
Is it normal to hate the Big Bang Theory?
