    I liked the first few series but I lost interest when the newer characters were added

      Same here! I love it for the first three season and now I hardly ever watch it. I don't know if the novelty of it has worn off or if the jokes/writing has become lazy, but I don't find it funny any more.

        Yeah it feels like the writing for the characters has gotten weaker because of them, that and the fact that sheldon was a funny and unique character, then they added Amy who is basically a female sheldon
