  • Okay, think of it this way. People are capable of taking care of varying amounts of issues and responsibilities in their lives. Some people are good with cars, some people are not. The people who are not will outsource the work of fixing the car because they do not know how or don't have the time to do it themselves.

Either way, the person fixing their own car probably also has a job they use to make money, even if it is also a job working on cars. You don't get to be unemployed, change your own oil, and call yourself a "stay at home auto mechanic"

    • Say 2 people are jobless. One can work on cars and one can't. One is more valuable to have around than the other.

      • But both are still JOBLESS, because fixing and taking care of your own property is not a JOB. Stay at home moms are JOBLESS and live off of the money earned by OTHER PEOPLE. Why is this so hard to understand?

        • Why do you think you're the authority on how people should live and spend their money? Do you realize other people have values, needs and desires that are different from yours? If it's not hurting you, then why do you even care?

What you call 'living off of someone' is just your hateful uninformed opinion. How do you think that comes across to people who have no choice but to stay home or people who VALUE raising their own children? You seem to value work over raising your own child and that's fine FOR YOU, but get it through your head...it's not acceptable for everyone. How would you feel if someone bashed you for 'abandoning your kid' just to spend 8 hours at some job? Why did you even have a kid if you're not going to raise it? And so on. They'd be an ass for doing that just like you're being an ass for doing what you're doing. We're talking about how consenting adults choose to run their households, why you think it's your place to judge is beyond me.

    • It's still money in your pocket. If you can't afford babysitting or car repairs, then you have to go without or DIY. If your job doesn't pay enough to send your kid to daycare then why work? If you don't believe in having kids unless at least one parent stays home then live and let live, plenty of people value that. Just because you don't doesn't mean shit.
