I tutor and often wonder how a teacher can spend a week or more teaching something so simple as calculating the area of a rectangle! Then all 30 ten year olds come out of class multiplying length by breadth AND THEN subtracting the length and the breadth off the area. EH?!? I think school spends too long explaining each topic, successfully confusing the kids.
Of course there are the ones who fall asleep or daydream, who don't hear enough to learn anything!
Is it normal to hate school
