It's not entirely normal. I would have to know why you hate poor people to be able to answer your question any better. I, personally, have an inherent disgust toward people who act like classless assholes, but that has little to do with money although I would be more likely to find those people in my friendly neighborhood ghetto (or at least people who don't bother hiding their shit-headedness behind nicely painted vinyl).
However, there are an abundance of people who feel total apathy toward the poor so you're probably not alone in your feelings.
I'm actually one of the poor. I just want to see how many excuses I get from the haters. I can't see why a person would hate the poor just because they are poor.
