Weed has caused millions of deaths, not directly but indirectly. They call it the gateway drug, because a lot of people smoke it for awhile then get bored of the high and want to try different highs, which in many cases leads people to much more lethal drug habits.
Of course this isn't the case for all people, but it is for many. I was one of them. Fortunately I never got hooked on any hard drugs but I have tried most of them with the exception of heroin. I even smoked crack rocks once just to see what the high was like. And I'm no crack head.
Nowadays I'm pretty much anti-drugs. With age comes wisdom.
Teenagers and the like don't know any better although they think "they know it all."
