Is it normal to hate people when they think i'm smart?

Ok if you read my other story or whever you might understand but I forgot to mention a little something...Ok well I'm Japanese Italian and I speak Japanese and French *Don't ask why I wanted to learn French it got me out of the house for like 2 months* Well I really HATE people when there all "You must be smart because your Asian!" it just makes me hate people with a freakin passion!I know I sounds really stupid but Ug it just drives me crazy! I play soccer and Volleyball and there always like "Look at the short Asian girl go!" or "She can jump high!" I think I even threw my shoe at someone before because I just got so pissed off. I know this might sound a bit funny but is it normal?

    It's better than my usual stereotype of being a 'dumb blonde.' I'm actually a very intelligent person, but most people at my school think I'm ditzy. It's very frustrating and they can be very rude.

    Yeah, it's quite normal to be pissed off because of racism. Heh, let me just say though - it really rocks that you can speak so many languages. I'm a little jealous *goes off to get clever*

    What is wrong about being smart or being perceived as a smart person? I think it is something else, like you being better than them and they are jealous perhaps. I think you are fine and should just let it go.

      I don't think she's pissed off because people think she's smart; I think she's pissed off because people think she's smart BECAUSE SHE'S ASIAN. Totally different.

      Stereotypes are annoying even if they're true because it's as if people aren't giving you yourself credit for who you are or what you do; it's just a native characteristic of your ethnicity.
