I think you need to take stock of what you have written here, placing everyone in the same basket. First off, i am 52 (not a teenage brat!!) and i find people sneezing annoyng... i am not someone who needs a blasted good spanking turning my butt beet red! (I think YOU sre the one with the anger issues here) Secondly, finding people annoying when they sneeze, fart, cough, sniff ... even eating!! This can actually be quite normal. (As someone above has added the misophonia condition). It is a human reflex. Humans are all very different and individual and we have a very broad spectrum of tolerance. There is no right way or wrong way dealing with life. No matter how big or small the challenges/issues we face. I only seem to have these issues with members of my family. I wonder if it has something to do with emotional attachment? In particular sneezing, then eating! With sneezing nobody seems to reach for a tissue, they would rather sit there and sneeze and splutter all over the place and all over me. Personally for me, its an issue of GERMS. When i sneeze, i sneeze quietly. If more than one sneeze approaches, i reach for a tissue. If i am out in public and i have no tissue then i sneeze into the crease of my elbow. Its consideration and manners for others around me. Something that SOME sneezers and sniffers, dont have for others. As it is my other half just sneezed up a storm, facing away from me, but spluttering all over the furniture and tv remotes placed on a table next to him!! Germs germs everywhere! I hated it... so i left the room quietly.
is it normal to hate people sneezing?
