Is it normal to hate people?

I like shopping but hate shoppers, I love the city but hate people in suits, I love working but hate customers, I'm a green traveler but can't stand passengers. To me everyone is loud, rude, pushy, angry, negligent, self centered, hurtful and in a hurry. In malls it's uncontrollable children and oblivious parents, under dressed death staring teenagers in none spending crowds. At festivals I love music but don't go because of the barbarous moshing and too many people throwing up on me. I'm friendly and give money to the homeless but get sworn at in the street for smelling roses. One on one people are okay, but as a whole... Horrible things.

I think it is normal and I also think that it could possibly be because you put more emphasis on others shortcomings compared to your owns. Weve all done stupid things and we all have different things to learn. N i dont mean in a "God is testing us all" sense. I just mean we all have our quirks and we all can learn a little something. Yeah I feel the same way sometimes so do the people I feel that about. So...yup its normal

wow, sounds like you and I could be best friends. I've never been a ppl person but as of late they just plain sicken me. If it isn't the arrogant self-centered things they do, it's the odd stares and comments they throw my way. I like looking at the sky. I like walking to the golf course with my clubs instead of driving. I like to sit down in a random spot and daydream. Yes, it's abnormal, but do I deserve to be viewed as less than human? No.....screw humanity. I'll stay in the clouds..

  • Most people are vile, cold, and selfish. Decent people are few and far between :(

I totally agree. I hate most people too. As a result I am very selective when it comes to choosing friends; the way I see it, life is too short to be spending time with morons. Although, at the same time it is important to not let it affect your life too much because unfortunately society isn't going anywhere!

Completely normal, I hate everyone too. People make me sick, everyone and everything is corrupt these days. Don't worry about it, I hang out with my GF all the time too! Forget friends!

Agreed. I hate people too. Pretty much, if I don't know someone I hate them. People are back stabbers, drama filled, disgusting, egotistical, lying pigs. If you don't know them, then you can't trust them. And even some people you know can't be trusted. There are only two people I would risk my life for, my mother and boyfriend. Everyone else I know, I would rather leave them to the dogs than myself be in harms way. Friends and other family included.

I hate parties, and I don't like being made to hang around people I don't know. I see no reason to "make friends" with people I work with, they are coworkers only, there is no need to see or talk to them outside of work.

Don't get me wrong, I'm nice to people and I smile and do all the bs that you are supposed to do to be "nice" to people I don't know. But inside I really don't give a crap about anyone besides my loved ones.

I see no reason to make new friends. If I do it's because I want to keep an eye on the person for some reason.

And I'm not unhappy either, I'm quite happy just hanging out with my bf. If I every once in a great while hang out with my friends then cool, but I don't need to. Guess that all makes me f'ckd up but that's me.

Oh boy! This is an example of how people make their life more difficult, as if it wasn't fucked-up by default.

    Tolerate, don't hate.
