Same situation here!! Mine are just unbelievably rude in so many ways and MIL is the most extreme liar and thief on the planet. What's worse is they act like thier shit doesn't stink. It ended up in me letting them have it, I just laid it all out one day when I got fed up. It didn't solve anything. I still hate them but I try to not let it eat at me. I guess I realized that they're not gonna change. If they're this rude and stuff, that they've likely been this way all their lives and I'm not the only person who knows the realness. It would be so satisfying to get an apology or even just an acknowledgement for some of the stuff they've done, but I realized that this too will never happen. So....although I didn't let it go and I still can't stand them, for my own sanity I have just kinda accepted it and I do whatever I can to avoid them at all costs.
You can't change them but you can change how you deal with them, don't let some rude scumbag ruin your day!! Take pleasure in knowing that everyone else they know probably thinks they're assholes and hates them too!!
