You sound like an awesome person to be doing that for your friend, yeah, I would hate that mother too and if she’s really that bad you could try reporting her or helping your friend get a job so they can start saving for a home to live on their own, and you guys can get away from that mother forever, but that’s all up to your guys initiative, plans, and if you’re legally adults
