I am in a similar predicament. I feel like if it's causing so many problems in the marriage and making you unhappy. why is he reluctant to get rid of the dog? My husband is acting like this as well. Mine doesn't spend so much time with our dog either so he can't be that attached....? I would chose him over a dog....
