I really /really/ hate him, sometimes. We are into BDSM acts, which I suppose I don't mind, i've just grown out of them. And he tries to control every aspect of my life, I'm going to get my hair died black with purple on the bottom. He's fussing about that because he would rather I have all purple hair, which I don't really like. I'm starting to get really annoyed with him, which is causing anger and depression, I don't want to breakup because i'll be lonely, and he said he'd never take me back..Is it normal to hate him for trying to control my life?

    Girl, if you hate your boyfriend thats a fucking RED FLAG that you shouldn't be with him. Boyfriends are fun to have because they are supposed to make you feel good about yourself, support you, love you, and treat you like a princess. This guy is controlling you, belittling you and your thoughts and emotions, he clearly has you in a strangle hold emotionally and that is not healthy. You deserve a man who would rather lay down and die before make you feel shitty about yourself, all women do. Be strong. Get away from this ass hole and fine yourself a guy who LOVES black hair with purple tips - thats what you deserve. I know you say you love him, but you can't love him and hate him at the same time. The idea of being alone after a long relationship is really scary, i know, but the thought of staying with this person who doesn't care about you and only wants to control you is even scarier!

    bottom line; dont waste your time feeling shitty with someone you hate ... theres more to life than that

    You can't hate your boyfriend... And if the only reason you don't want to end things is because you don't want to be lonely, well you need to understand that's not a very good reason.

    If he is making you more upset, mad, or sad than he is making you happy, you shouldn't make him a priority in your life. If you really hate him like you say why are you with him? You can find a guy that will support your decisions and let you make your own decisions.
