Is it normal to "hate" music?

Ever since I can remember I've always hate a strong "hatred" for a lot of music. It's not a "I hate this song, this song sucks." It's more a feeling I feel in my stomach twisting and turning and I get like headaches. I feel when I hear artists that fall in a lot of categories even some classical music, but it's mostly pop and hip hop music. I am asking because I almost feel it's irrational and unhealthy because no one I talk to gets the same feeling.

Yes it is, considering how horrible music has become in this modern age we live in. It is normal and healthy to hate any music that has come out after the year 2000.

But you need to look into music from back in the 60's and 70's dude. You'll find something you'll like, believe me. I'll help you out.

In the politically-correct world where nothing works, terror and hatred have been made illegal.
So, you need to love all forms of music; or else Barney the Purple Dinosaur will shove "I love you, you love me, we're a happy family" down your throat, at the point of a semi-automatic assault weapon, if necessary.

Assault weapons are the finest musical instruments money can buy. The orchestra of violence is pleasing. If you don't like it, I'll blast your ass.

Music is an intrinsic part of life and culture, everybody should learn to be able to enjoy it. I have a very eclectic taste in music, since i can spend hours listening to classical music, to old school hip hop, to disco, or any other musical genre. Music is part of my life and i couldn't live without it.

Bad music does infact bring on headaches. Good music tickles the soul.

It's a little unusual to see someone who "hates all kind of music, period". Even some of the most critical of critics can still be fans of bohemian rhapsody, stairway to heaven, etc. Everyone to their own I guess.

I don't listen to music. It annoys me and makes me irritable. I prefer the quiet.

I don't usually listen to music so it's normal to me. I had a girlfriend who would make snappy remarks to me about it. I like my own thoughts and quietness.

I can't understand how people can listen to it for hours and hours on end.

I can't stand loud music. But if you're talking about any kind of volume, that's unusual. It's not unhealthy or irrational though.
