Is it normal to hate mushrooms?

I hate mushrooms too... Except the thing that sucks is that I'm a culinary student so I have to deal with them <_< I hate them as a whole... but I love them as a sauce as long as they are cooked and taken out

My sis hates mushrooms too. Whenever we have pizza or cassarole or a chicken and mushroom pie or whatever, she always extracts the mushrooms and shares them around the rest of the family.
