Is it normal to hate most women who claim to be bisexual?

  • I agree the current social environment makes people claim they're something they may not really be.

I truely believe it's a generational thing not a lot different than what ever trendy things you grew up with. The social acceptance of certain things to be part of the in crowd has had an effect on every generation and sometime multiple generations.

Things like; alcohol, smoking, music, clothing, hair styles, marijuana, harder drugs, and sex have all been defining traits that teens and twenty something's have adopted over the last hundred years or more.

Normally it's a trait socially seen as unacceptable or at least fringe extreme by the parents or previous generation. A lot of times it can be things that were done in the previous generation but considered so extreme or unacceptable that it was kept in the closet.

Examples: 100 years ago some females smoked but not in public, 70 y.a. females liked sex but couldn't admit it. 40 y.a. there were gays but most wouldn't/couldn't admit it.

If you look at the trend about 20 years after the above stated time frames there was a major movement to change those things and by 30 years later they were almost considered normal, but not by the older generation.

Think of your generation what did teens sneak out of the house to do. How may of those did just enough to say they did it.

I've known (older)straight guys that masturbated together or had anal sex with another guy but by no means would they say they were gay or bi. They would say they were horney boys going through puberty and were just experimenting. Today a lot of guys would hang the bi or gay label on themselves because that's the thing to be today.

Girls aren't much different most of us (older) females had our first kiss with another female, some of us played with each other's body and may have had oral sex or used items/toys to experiment with. Again we wouldn't call ourselves lesbian or even bi, just experimenting, however, today if we were young we would almost hang the label around our neck like an award.

Sorry about the lengthy post but, in short if kissing another girl or even experimenting with one can be called bi then most girls probably aren't really lying or faking it. The more it's accepted the more you'll probably hear or see it. If it wasn't for the negitive stigmatism associated with being gay or lesbian, some of those experimenters may not have turned back to the opposite sex. Many people have proposed to the first person they ever had actual acceptable sex with.

Sex is good and fun especially when the other person can push all the right buttons.

In the words of an old song "love the one you're with"

    • I agree to an extent, although I don't really believe in labels

I think you shouldn't have to choose a name for what kind of people you love

Sexuality is fluid, as you said "I've known (older)straight guys that masturbated together or had anal sex with another guy but by no means would they say they were gay or bi."

People can go through phases like this their whole lives, and its totally normal

But what's not normal is how there's a pressure to know what and who you like at such a young age

Some will never know, while others have known for years and will never change

      • I do want to disclaim that I do believe that the idea of being bisexual is real

You can be attracted to 2 or more genders in one "sitting", if you will (idk how else to put it)

    • Interesting perspective. I guess I'm just disgusted by the 'I'm got such an amazing personality, for starters I'm bisexual', kind of people. The ones who think sucking off a minority makes them interesting in anyway or a good person.

      • Well, yeah, but that doesn't mean you hate bisexuals, it means you hate it when people do THAT shit
