Nothing wrong with being guarded. I am myself. And yes things do break when they fall. But someday u have to learn to let go and love, else in the end it's you who misses out. You just have to trust the person first. If they shit on you then at least you still have the moral high ground. The softest pillow is a clear conscience.....

i keep the cunt mentality to remind myself not to get too attached and save myself from heartbreak.
Maybe having your strength is a better tactic?
