Your probably a really good person living in a completely dysfunctional world. I think and feel similar to yourself. It's admirable for you to choose to work with yourself and not take the medication. Although your psychiatrist is right.. you could choose to forget about it and be happy in ignorance like the majority but I got a feeling that isn't acceptable to you. You seem to have a rebellious conscious and like to challenge the status qou. Its easy to become cynical when things appear clear to you and are seemingly invisible to others. Keep in mind your psychiatrist can only be credible by comparing you to a conformed "social norm" and giving you the tools to be average and obedient. In reality he is more lost and misguided than you are. The world is crying for people like you. To stand up and speak out on its behalf. To challenge the confused conformed norm. Your right.. your real and I'd love to see you keep at it. There are few like you. Best wishes and happy hating ;)
Is it normal to hate life, but be happy?
