I have a conservative grandmother, and she once told me that she hates weddings. (I never talked to her about it, but I'm guessing she doesn't like formal occasions.)
And why not hate them? I missed my only chance to go to a wedding to date, and a person who went told a story about it that made me glad I wasn't there. But in retrospect, I regret that not being the first time I ever met the man who became my newest cousin, because he's really a nice and intelligent man.
Is it normal to hate going to weddings ?
