Is it normal to hate everything about myself?

i hate everything about myself
i hate the way i snap at people i love
i hate the way i lash out
i hate my weight
i hate the scars on my wrist
i hate my low intelligence levels
i hate everything about how i look
i hate that i hate myself
i don't know how to get more confidence no boys like me. no GIRLS like me
i have no friends.
i want to be NORMAL!

  • i know how you feel but your not always thinking that right sometimes you must think happy stuff like yes im AWSOME NAILED IT ETC when you do DONT STOP THINKING IT STAY HAPPY

  • your not alone on this one...
    i have a problem with scars on my legs and arms myself, and i hate my weight, hair ect.
    so i think its normal, because alot of girls think their the most ugliest girl in the world, but there actually very beautiful.
    im sure your just lacking self confidence (like me) and need to love yourself more. dont hate yourself, you will never gain self confidence like that

  • Everyone goes through periods were they self-loath, however instead of beating yourself and making yourself feel worse why don't you try and change these things you dont like about yourself why dont you try and make friends, walk away in heated disputes with ppl, study harder inorder to defeat belief you have that your not smart. I know its easy said than done but sitting there complaining about your life aint going to get you no where. we all in the same boat and i myself intend to practice what i have just preached.

  • i understand how your feel. it helped me to find activities im good at, instead of forcing something on myself that i couldnt do and then feel worse about it later. Do things for yourself, put yourself first, treat yourself to a massage or something like a pedicure. and if your not happy about your weight find an activity you like doing, hiking, swimming, walking dogs, heck do some volunteer work at an animal shelter or something, any activity out of your norm will help. i also found meditating works. i like to sit and think about creation. just do something, its always better then nothing

  • You have really, really, REALLY serious self steem issues.
    I'm sure your weight, intelligence and looks are just fine; your attitude can change if you feel better, and you don't need other people's aproaval to feel good about yourself.
    You might need some profesional help, it helped me; they will help you to love yourself.
    And one more thing before I forget, How old are you? If you're a teen then it's perfectly normal to feel insecure; teen years suck, your body is changing, your mind is changing, your world is changing, it's horrible; but it passes and things pick up after that. But the key is to find what makes you happy and do it

  • You wouldn't snap at ppl and lash out if you were happy with yourself. You really need to pick yourself up. U can't expect others to like you if you don't like yourself. Talk to someone, a teacher, counsellor, family etc. Get some interests, exercise... It's great for helping your mood.
    If appearance is such a big thing, maybe set yourself goals, save up and treat yourself to something special every few months or whatever. Once your feeling a bit better about yourself join a sport group or some local social activity, great way to meet ppl and find friends with similar interests. Or take a course in your field of interest.
    You really really need to do something. Give it a go! Goodluck and cheer up :)
