Is it normal to hate anime and hentai with a passion

Opposite of love isn't hate, it's apathy. The irrational hatred comes from the shame you give yourself over the hobby. If you're cringing at cartoons, the issue isn't inside your tv.

Yea it's normal people have their certain interest, some love it and some don't. People who don't love it is because they don't understand the language and don't want to read the subtitles. I love anime myself and I recommend you to watch SAO it's in English and I got my friends who didn't like anime into it.

it is normal to not like a form of entertainment, but i don't really see a reason to HATE it (in my opinion). i mean, i don't like hentai but i don't hate it because I have no reason to, i just avoid it because i don't like it. you can't really hate something unless you get involved with it frequently, but if you can avoid it easily then it should never get to the point of you hating it. imo, not normal.

I like anime, but not obsess over it like weeaboos and try to be Japanese. Its okay to have an opinion, even if its a bad one.

Everyone around me won't shut up about it. I've looked into it and wasn't impressed or fascinated. It's so mediocre and i wish i could find someone who's into something new.
