Oky this may be long but im hitting alot of points here so plz be patient.
1st Im of 2 minds on the issue, i really hate the rapid amine fanboyness that has taken over. i grow up watching anime all my life (speed racer, ultraman, voltron and the like) but to me its just another form of entertainment.
I do feel u on the cliches in anime are very overdone and tiring, but these are a more recent addition to anime. Older anime (robotech, gundam) u dont see little bubbles and vein burst over ppl heads and sparkle eye. they are more mature.
But please dont write off anime as a whole because it covers so many diffrent genres and styles that there is literally an anime for everyone
It sounds like the main problem is the type u have been intoducted to are the immature kiinda that manytimes are embarssing to me.
Before u and anyone writes animes off for good plz consider whating the following:
Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa of the valley of the wind, & Any other Hayao Miyazaki directed movie.
This are the stories that are epic and fulfilling to watch. A good anime is one that makes u forget ur watchng one, because of the story. If u like fanasty, entertaining stories plz watch these movies. The likes of Uma thurman, Billy bob thorton, and even Patrick fukin Stewart did voice acting in the ones i mentioned above.
P.S. Death note is for scrubs itduz, so i guess it fits u
Is it normal to hate anime?
