To feel the urge to kill them, it is an extreme feeling, not normal or healthy.
But to feel you don't approve, or indignant, I think it can be considered normal.
I like black people, I am friends with a few, I respect black culture, I think Obama as the president of the USA is a great thing for this society, I love hip-hop and R&B music, which is sang primarily by black people
BUT
I wouldn't date a black man, or marry, or have a child with, and I will be totally devastated if any of my daughters will bring home a black boyfriend one day.
That don't mean I am racist, it just means that my preference when it comes to personal relationships is that I want to be involved only with the kind I feel is best for me. And that's my own.
Also is not wrong to want the same for your immediate family.
Imposing one's views upon others, that is what I think is fundamentally wrong.
Believing is one, imposing is other.
is it normal to hate an interracial relationship

Actually being "devastated" if your daughter had a black boyfriend is indeed racist
