That's sweet =] I think you do have feelings for your best friend but that's nothing to be ashamed of, maybe he likes you too? I mean other guys wouldn't let their friends hug them like that and you guys sound so close.. Just don't ignore him or you'll hurt his feelings and he'll distance himself from you too.
