Is it normal for people to go to church to try to find a boy or girl friend, a potential marriage partner, yet actually have no real interest in religion or even belief in it, like some others might go to singles bars? Do you think that would be a good idea? Or hypocritical? Is there really anything wrong with being hypocritical?
LOL ! At the church I go to, you would almost think that was the entire point ! People there are so [deleted] shallow and superficial. I don't see the point of going to church anymore. The people there aren't any more good or bad than people you would find anywhere else.

Well, technically, I did not originally go to church looking for a girlfriend, but I hadn't been there long when I found one, and she did turn out to be a "bad" girl, in the sense that she soon seduced me and we began making love on a regular basis. Later though, she had an attack of conscience and wanted to put the brakes on our relationship. We broke up for awhile, then got back together, only to break-up again a short while later. She got pregnant and called me up and asked me if I still wanted to marry her, which I did. So we got hitched. The baby died of SIDS not long afterward. But we are still together after many, many years. So on the whole it has not worked-out too badly. Thank goodness!
Normal for wanting the kind of girl that is portrayed as a church girl. (although she will think you're a skeeze when when she finds out why you were at church.
Not normal however that your at church to score chicks. I can't see it, Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed...... Hey baby, can I get those digits? haha
Although I don't go to church and nobody I know goes to church I have heard from some American atheists I watch on youtube that its quite common for people to go the church to try and pick up a partner.
I can see why it is though. You go there regularly see all the same faces share a common interest and all feel really good about yourself while your doing it.

Yes, that is true. However, depends what kind of a person you are looking for. You won't go into a bar thinking you will find this great guy. Not in my case anyway.
In my opinion, those who go to church are more appealing to me than those who don't because they are taught things which others might disregard.
While this might be true, I am aware of the fact that even those who go to church could be bad.
