As you can tell from the comments, it's really hard and people will always judge you. I started going out with my boyfriend when I was 22, he's 25 years older than me and has been married before. He has kids around my age. It IS weird and it isn't ideal for what I want in life. But I am an adult and I unexpectedly fell in love with another amazing adult. He didn't know me when I was a child so it isn't 'gross'. You just have to decide if you can make the sacrifices that go with it.
