Is it normal to go for a quick errand before going to the bar

Hi. So, to start with I was pretty bad anxiety. I've recently been trying to reestablish contact with a close friend who I haven't seen for ages due to covid and work, so we planned a bar-hangout for tomorrow. All good fun!

Today we're planning details, When/where, that stuff. And she tells me that, if the weather is nice, she'd like to take a quick detour before going to the bar but that we can deal with that once we meet. I don't want to pry about what it is, but it got me worried about her planning something. I have been a bit of a dick recently in the friendship and while we have made up and gotten past it, I'm worried it's going to be something nefarius. Payback, if you will.

So my question is, is it normal, or am I just anxious for basically no reason? I haven't been out to a bar in years due to covid and social anxiety, so I lack a good reference frame to judge.

no, but it's nothing nefarius 1

Your anxious, I get it. You want to know what's going to happen.

Take control. Tell her you'll meet her at the bar at X time. Take the uncertainty out of the equation.

Maybe she wants to stop by the dispensary, and buy some weed?

I don't know. More likely is that she takes the weed home, does a few tokes, then reads scary ghost stories with her cat. Electric strawberry pie for a snack in between chapters.
