While I appreciate the insight, its a little different for women than it is for men. In our society, its up to the man to initiate the conversations and ultimately ask for a date. I used to have this whole "who cares if she says no, your in the same spot you were 5 minutes ago" mentality when asking girls out, but now after this many years, I just can't do it anymore, the rejection is breaking my will. But the fact that some people feel similar to me gives me some reassurance, even if it is slight, so thank you all.
