    I give them hell if it's an innocent person. I am one of those people who CAN NOT stop myself from defending an innocent person, whether online or in real life.

    Not all of them love attention: some are simply harassers.

    Unfortunately, it's a rare case here in America to be kind enough to do anything nice to return the favor because we are uncaring, self-centered jerks. So no, it's not normal. We need more people like you.

    It would depend. In most cases, I would probably look the other way, but if I thought the person being humiliated either didn't have the confidence or the capability to stand up for themselves, then that makes it my business. It's just one of those things I cannot ignore. If you witness that happening and do nothing about it that makes you a coward. I cannot sleep at night with that.
